Healthy Whole Wheat Apple Pancakes

These pancakes will be the apple of your kids eye.  Made with whole wheat flour and real apples, these delicious cakes are super moist!



  1. In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, salt, coconut sugar, and nutmeg.
  2. In a separate small bowl, beat together the baking soda, egg, butter, vanilla, and milk.
  3. Add the milk and egg mixture into the dry ingredients, stirring only until blended, then gently fold in the grated apple.
  4. Spoon batter onto a pre-heated and lightly greased griddle or frying pan, cooking for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
